Overview
The Downtown Gateway represents the transition into the core of the Hwy 278 corridor and serves as a clear point of arrival into Downtown Covington. Gateway elements in this area are designed to reinforce downtown identity while supporting walkability and connectivity.
Improvements focus on enhancing the pedestrian experience, strengthening visual continuity, and incorporating gateway features that are appropriately scaled for a downtown setting.
